Meet Our Founder: Katina D. Washington

Katina D. Washington, based in Carmel, Indiana, is a seasoned strategist and accomplished businesswoman with a proven track record of fostering entrepreneurial growth and community development. As the visionary behind SHE. Event Indy Co., Katina has dedicated her career to creating platforms that empower entrepreneurs and uplift communities.

In 2021, Katina launched the SHE.Xperience Shoppes, enabling over 25 businesses to establish brick-and-mortar locations in downtown Indianapolis. This initiative has significantly contributed to building a lasting legacy for Black business owners in the area. Through her journey, Katina has successfully coached more than 500 entrepreneurs, supporting them in achieving their business goals.

Building on the success of SHE. Event Indy Co., Katina is excited to introduce "I Am The Moment," a new initiative aimed at bringing women together in Carmel, Indiana. This endeavor seeks to create intentional events that add value to both personal and professional aspects of participants' lives. By fostering meaningful connections and providing a platform for unique products and services, "I Am The Moment" aspires to cultivate a community where women can support each other's growth and celebrate the power of living in the present.
